Mission Statement ARN
The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses promotes and advances professional rehabilitation, nursing practice through education, advocacy, collaboration, and research to enhance the quality of life for those affected by disability, and chronic illness.

Membership Information

  • Registered Nurses may join as full members with voting privileges. All others may join as associate members with no voting privileges.

  • There are reduced membership fees available for retired nurses, contact ARN Membership for further information, rate, and eligibility criteria.
  • To join the Florida State Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, you must be a member of the National Organization, ARN. FSARN membership is renewed annually with your ARN Membership.
  • In the state of Florida, we have tri-level membership requirements. Your National and State Chapter dues are paid directly to ARN. Your district dues must be paid at the local/district level. If you live in an area where there is no
    district, you may maintain a bi-level membership status.
  • Currently, ARN annual dues are $115 and FSARN annual dues are $10.  Each district sets their own annual dues.

  • ARN members receive publications including: Rehabilitation Nursing and ARN News. FSARN members also receive a quarterly newsletter and a directory of FSARN members. In addition, members receive discounts on all ARN educational conferences that update your knowledge and provide continuing education credits.

  • Membership directories are available either by CD or hard copy. Email Linda Bertino, listed below with your requests.
  • Reciprocity for people moving into the area will be granted if a member of ARN and their respective chapters.
  • F S A R N Magical Membership Challenge

    This is an opportunity for the members of FSARN to contribute to our Chapter. I issued a challenge of 500 members by the May 2012 conference and as of the end of April our membership was 435. We would like help from the members to reach this goal, so the board is offering an incentive.

    FREE FSARN Conference Registration

     The contest will run from May 1, 2011 to April 30, 2012.
     Winner with the most members recruited will receive a FREE Conference Registration. Winner with the most ARN members recruited will receive a FREE Conference Registration. If case of a tie, the winner will be determined by the number of ARN & FSARN members vs. just ARN members. The person with the most ARN & FSARN members will be declared the winner.
     Winner must be a tri-level member.
     The winner will be announced at the FSARN annual meeting May 2012.
    Your name must be included on the ARN application at the time the person submits their application to ARN. You will receive credit for every person you sponsor for membership with ARN and FSARN. All submissions will be verified with ARN.

    Once your sponsored member submits their application to ARN, send the person’s name and contact information to: rainbeaus@live.com with “Challenge” in subject line or snail mail a list by April 20, 2012 to:

    Winner will be presented with a certificate and a voucher for a future FSARN Conference Registration fee.
