"Recreational Therapy to Maximize Client Care"

Participants will learn the information needed to incorporate Recreational Therapy Rehabilitation and Quality of Life goals. Session will provide an overview of the Recreational Therapy process, the ins and outs of the therapy profession and which clients/populations should consider services. Speaker will also provide a breakdown what variables that play a difference in what is considered appropriate for interventions and for the frequency of service. Learning Objectives: 1. Identify the Recreational Therapy process. 2. Identify the barriers and benefits of Recreational Therapy. 3. Identify populations served with Recreational Therapy. 4. Identify client goals, objectives and interventions in Recreational Therapy. 5. Identify frequency of services needed.
